    Thease days why EQ is more important than IQ?? Where as in olden days IQ was the most important thing.

    your question is a good question thanks for posting it.In olden days information was available to less people and moreover the competetion was relatively low.{it doesnt mean there was no competetiton}.So these days knowledge you gather is being given less importance because for that purpose we rely on internet and it is easily available to every one.Now role of E.Q comes into picture because we need students who can balance their emotions and work with full concentration.So in order to sort out such students even the questions in competitive exams are also framed like that.We need students who can do SMART WORK BUT NOT HARD WORK.That is why E.Q was given more importance.Hope your question was answered.If there are any suggestions please let me know.
